Set within a Natural Park at the centre of a mountain region known as La Alpujarra, at an altitude of 900 metres, there is plenty to interest the adventurous as well as those seeking a tranquil haven. The accommodation is an original stone-built fully renovated farmhouse, with spectacular panoramic views of the Contraviesa peaks. The area offers wonderful walking country within which nestles the 'pueblos blancos', the Moorish whitewashed villages of Southern Spain. Here you will find a wealth of interest in the local handicrafts, and the cottage industries producing regional foods and wines. |
